Netcare's experience with ALTSA in a major lighting upgrade project

" Netcare embarked on a journey to upgrade old inefficient lighting throughout its hospital network in 2015. This project came with challenges as it entailed well over a hundred thousand luminaires across 41 facilities, facilities that needed to stay functional and operational through the upgrade. The project was successfully completed in two phases in 2017.

The logistics to carry out a project of this magnitude across a national footprint was immense, especially considering that the range of luminaire types were more than 50 different replacement solutions. As can be expected, a project of this magnitude would not come without challenges. ALTSA handled these challenges graciously and left Netcare with an end product that is of good quality and handled the project effectively. "

BEE Certificate

ALTSA is a Level 1 BEE Certified Company

We are proud to announce that ALTSA is a Level 1 BEE Certified Company. This is important to our company for a number of reasons, the first being the fact that we understand the value of Black Economic Empowerment(BEE). BEE is an important policy instrument aimed at broadening the economic base of the country and stimulating further economic growth and creating employment.

It is important to understand that BEE is not aimed at taking money and jobs from those who were considered as previously “advantaged” and giving it to those who were not, but rather it aims to redress the inequalities of the past through improved economic development and opportunity, thus improving South Africa`s economy.

By being BEE certified, ALTSA qualifies as a “preferred” supplier to all businesses in South Africa. This benefits you, our valued client, as it enables your business to secure BEE points. We have official BEE documentation, available for download below.
